Problem
You cannot log in to the Boardwise app and are stuck in a login loop.
Cause
This issue commonly occurs when the client secret for the app registration has expired or is misconfigured. A faulty installation or issues with mobile authentication can also cause a login loop.
Solution
Step 1: Verify the client secret
- Open Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) in your Microsoft account.
- Navigate to App registrations and select the Boardwise app.
- Under Certificates & secrets, check whether the client secret is still valid.
- If the secret has expired, create a new one and enter it in the Boardwise settings.
Step 2: Reinstall the app
- Completely uninstall the Boardwise app from your device.
- Restart your device.
- Reinstall the Boardwise app from the App Store or Microsoft Teams.
- Try logging in again.
Step 3: Use Microsoft Authenticator (for mobile devices)
- Make sure the Microsoft Authenticator app is installed and correctly set up on your mobile device.
- Use Microsoft Authenticator for two-factor authentication if it is activated.
- Try logging in to the Boardwise app again.
